The hospital is specialises in Women's health and children. They provide treatment for everything from general paediatric conditions to complex craniofacial reconstruction

Job Description

•To deliver a high quality of diagnostic imaging to all service users, ensuring clinical safety and facilitating a high standard of customer care.

This is a full time role working 37.5hrs per week

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties would be as below, but not limited to:

•To skilfully provide accurate & timely diagnostic imaging services

•To have an excellent theoretical and practical knowledge of MRI, for both adult and paediatric, and MR angiography to enable protocols to be modified in an appropriate manner when necessary, with close consultation with the Radiologists.

•Comply with legislative and hospital/corporate policies and procedure, ensuring patient safety.

•To provide a high level of customer care, to both internal and external customers.

•To be familiar with the PACS/Meditech (RIS) software systems, inputting data as required.

•To maintain patient confidentiality at all times in accordance with HCA policies & professional Code of Conduct.

•To undertake on call duties as required by the Imaging Department Manager.

•To undertake any surveys/audits pertinent to the department. To help prepare for and participate in CHKS/CQC Inspections

Skills & Experience

•DCR/BSc(Hons) Diagnostic Radiography

•HPC Registration

•Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience, including 2 years working knowledge of MRI (including paediatric experience)

•2 years minimum at Senior 1 level.

•Evidence of multidisciplinary team working.
