What will being an PET-CT Deputy Clinical Lead with us involve?
As a PET-CT Deputy Clinical Lead you will provide additional support and expertise to the clinical leadership team, ensuring that the PET-CT Services of the highest clinical quality are delivered.
This role will suit an experienced PET-CT Radiographer / Technologist that is looking to move into a Deputy Clinical Lead role that will be split into 60% developing clinical aspects of National PET-CT Contracts and 40% dedicated to front line clinical responsibilities.
The role holder will provide clinical and professional support to staff in the clinical environment through a programme of assessment, mentoring, and training. The post holder will also participate in the clinical rota as required by the business to maintain a high level of clinical, technical and radiographic skill (PET-CT).
The role holder will assist in leading the clinical governance and regulatory compliance brief for PET-CT services.
What skills and experience will you need to apply?
- An experienced Radiographer / Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a minimum of 4+ years of clinical experience.
- You will possess a DCR (R) or BSc Radiography (or equivalent in relevant field)
- A valid professional registration as a Radiographer or Clinical Scientist / Technologist
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Previous participation in clinical governance activity and its application within the operational environment
- Previous involvement in assisting workplace clinical training, supervision and assessment
- Evidence that CPD portfolio is maintained and developed
- Ability to perform Intra-Venous cannulations
- Full UK Drivers Licence
