Jennie Reeves qualified as a Radiographer at Portsmouth College (Now the University of Portsmouth). She came to London and started working as a Radiographer at Hammersmith Hospital. Early in 1968 she started working under the name of 'Radiographers Agency' and travelled all over London completing short locums. As her reputation for reliability and hard work grew she recruited other Radiographers to help with the increased demand for locum staff.
Kay Stockford DCR joined in 1970 initially working as a Radiographer and then in the office helping with finance and administration. She retired 37 years later in 2007! Jennie's sister Rosemary joined to help with administration and consequently recruitment. Rosemary worked with the agency for over 25 years. Continuing the family trend Jennie's daughters Phoebe and Vanessa have also joined the agency and are now both directors.
The current Barmouth Road offices opened in 1986. These offices have seen a variety of committed employees who have all contributed in shaping the agency to be the success it has been and is today.
Jennie's dedication and commitment to Radiography has been illustrated with her longevity in the business and her ability to keep abreast with the changing times. The most recent innovation was to help create a consortium of medical agencies in the form of HEC (Healthcare Employment Consortium). It has given the agency the opportunity to remain competitive with the large high street agencies without losing sight of its commitment to services to Radiography.
